A yoga class designed for those newer to yoga. This class introduces foundational yoga postures with an emphasis on proper alignment and useful adjustments that you can take into any yoga class. Although this class moves at a slower pace - expect to be physically challenged.

Buti Yoga

Instead of linear movements, Buti favors movements that challenge the body along all planes of motion - THE RESULT - long, lean muscle with sexy feminine curves.

Cloud Tai Chi

Cloud Tai Chi is based in the precepts and principles of Chen Tai Chi. We will begin class with the standard Chen Tai Chi general warm up and then move into standing Wuji meditation, followed by 8 PIECES OF Brocade Chi Gung practice and 5 Elements Chi Gung. The focus on Chi Gung will create a very real and palpable sense of well being. We will follow up with some basic Tai Chi footwork and arm movements. Joint mobility and stretching are also incorporated. It doesn't matter if you have no previous experience - we will cover the fundamentals and guide you every step of the way (Tao).

Get ready to feel the Chi and experience a natural high through movement, deep breathing and relaxation. Should be a fun time for all while learning an art that has roots in China more than 4,000 years old in Taoism." A journey of 1,000 miles begins with one step"

Nia is based on the intelligent design of the body. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving you energized, mentally clear, and emotionally balanced. Nia cardio-dance workouts combine 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts to get you fit in 60 minutes - body, mind, emotion, and spirit. Nia is non-impact, practiced barefoot, and adaptable to individual needs and abilities. Nia classes are taught by licensed Nia teachers.

 
Restorative Yoga

Restorative Thai Yoga

You will be led through a series of relaxing yoga poses using blocks and cushions, and help further deepen your experience with personalized Thailand-style of hands-on body enhancements.  Each class features a legs up the wall sequence that maximizes detoxifying of the lower body by utilizing passive inversion.

If you own a thick yoga mat, it's ideal for this class.  Loaner straps, blankets, cushions, and blocks are avvailable, but if you have your own supplies please bring them along!

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is for everyone regardless of other yoga experience. Classes involves poses that are supported by props and held for 3-5 minutes allowing you to completely relax and rest. Most classes are done completely on the floor and many say they feel like they've made a massage when leaving.

We all know how important it is to love your self, but what does loving your self actually look like? When we love someone we listen to them, we pay attention to them, we spend time with them. In this class you will learn how to be that space for your self while learning to work through and process what ever comes up in that space.

Vinyasa Flow (All Levels)

Appropriate for any beginner in reasonably fit condition who can easily move from standing to a seated position. You will be introduced to and learn the Sun Salutations. Detailed instruction is given on proper alignment as concepts and ideas are offered as tools to wick away stress in order to find more ease in the physical body and more peace and joy for the busy brain.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga’s intention is to bring balance into the body, mind, and spirit. Each pose is linked with an inhale or exhale of breath. Be ready to move during this practice, it is full of dynamic and creative movement focusing on the link between how we move, breathe, and connect.

Zen Tai Chi

Zen Tai Chi {or MOGA} is a combination of Tai Chi and QiGong and Gentle Yoga. The primary focus of MOGA is on wellness and balance of the mind body spirit and qi cultivation.

Class can include:
- kneeling / seated meditation and energy warm ups
- walking meditations and stationary qigong and tai chi
- traveling tai chi foundation movements
- standing meditation, wall yoga, qigong, shavasana

Each class is intuitively led based on who is in attendance and what the needs of the class are. Come dressed as you are (casual loose fitting clothing or fitness attire). All ages and all experience / fitness levels welcome. Class can be modified for chair.
