Spring Cleaning with Feng Shui

Are you ready for spring cleaning? Your home is probably ready for fresh air - so open your windows and let the Chi (energy) cleanse and renew your space!

Winter, a time of storing and hibernation, might suggest you have accumulated a bit of clutter throughout the home. According to Feng Shui teachings of Raphael Simon, here are some clutter areas to look for - and what they mean.

If you have clutter in the middle, north-east or south-west areas of your home, it affects the element of Earth. This can indicate too much worry.

If clutter is found in the west area of your home, the element Metal is affected. This could indicate problems with communication or conflict with others over control issues.

If clutter is found in the north area, the element Water is affected. You might be having a tendency to ignore your problems that are calling for attention.

If clutter is found in the east area of your space, the element of Wood is affected. This can indicate a tendency to become confused or indecisive.

If clutter is found in the south area of your space, the element Fire is affected. This can indicate resistance to authority or a loss of power.

Happy “Spring Cleaning” for your space, soul and mind!
